AI & Communities Research 2020: Mid-Project Update

As with many things, the COVID-19 pandemic affected our AI & Communities research project. Today I’d like to give an update on the project and describe our path forward.

2020 Practitioners Survey & Working Session

We’ve opened the practitioners survey back up for 2 more weeks (through June 3). If you haven’t had a chance, you can still take the survey.

Take the AI & Communities Practitioner Survey

Everyone who participates in the survey will get a copy of the report and be invited to a review and working session on June 30th.

You can register for the session on 6/30 here. Again, please complete the survey before registering.

Register for the AI & Communities Research Debrief & Working Session

Please note: this is intended for brand-side practitioners.

2020 Community Platform Providers

We were in the midst of interviews with leading platform providers when the pandemic forced things to grind to a halt. We will begin outreach and interviews again next week. If you are a community platform provider, and we haven’t reached out, feel free to complete the platform provider survey to have your platform and point of view included in our report out:

AI, Agent & Automation Platforms Landscape

We have also been conducting a landscape survey on AI, Agent, and Automation vendors that could be possible tools for community development. I’m pleased to release the first working draft of this and would love feedback, suggested edits, and any tools we may have missed.
